Mustard Seed Week
By showing your congregation the power of legacy giving,
you could make a real difference to your own church,
as well as helping other Christian organisations,
and enabling God’s kingdom to grow for generations to come.
Churches, Christian charities and organisations are doing wonderful work all
across the world – but many are held back from doing more by a lack of
adequate funding. There is a solution that could be the answer to many
prayers: Legacies.
Unlike cash gifts now, gifts in wills cost nothing in this lifetime (except
solicitor’s fees), and they go on providing for many years into the future. Our
research shows that many church-goers are open to the idea of leaving a
Christian legacy – if only someone would suggest it, and help them take the
first steps.
In the meantime, secular charities are successfully seeking legacies from
Christians – leaving a lot of Christian work significantly under-funded.
As a minister or church leader, you’re ideally placed to bring a message of new hope to many
Christians – and we want to help you do that, by offering you all the support and information you need.
